Good to have as a back up if you forget to charge your pump or if it dies while you’re out, you could always pull those bad boy out and either empty yourself out or take out just enough so you’re not engorged but I always throw this in the bag as a back up
I've tried this and the Medela manual pump. I don't know what it was about the Medela but I just couldn't really produce anything. This manual pump works great! I am going to try inserts eventually only because my nipple is small and if I go over like 8 minutes of use they get a bit irritated. For a quick pump to take the edge off or something more quiet in the middle of the night I love it.
The suction is strong, but the handle is super bulky, and there isn't a good pull. I get milk it's just super uncomfortable.
